Twists and Turns of Working Life at DISTARU

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Teachers who I respect and am proud of. I am Benedictus Krisna Satria Purnama from class XII DPIB2 will convey the results of my internship work for the past 3 months. Before that, my place of work was at the Spatial Planning Office (DISTARU). The Spatial Planning Office is located at Semarang City Hall.

DISTARU or better known as the Office of Spatial Planning is a company under the Semarang City government. The Distaru building is located in Semarang city hall. Within Distaru itself there are several different sectors, for example in the field of building planning, spatial planning, secretariat, land, etc. My friends and I were assigned to the field of building management by the head of the field in Distaru. Now in this building system there are also several divisions such as PBG (Building Approval), SLF (Certification of Function Worthiness), cultural heritage, billboards, and supervision.

Here, my friends and I got a lot of tasks such as calculating retribution (RAB), making building designs in autocad to match the KRK (City Plan Description) of the Semarang city government. Not only that, we were also invited to socialize with the head of the Semarang city office, with Mrs. Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu who is often called Bu Ita as the mayor of Semarang.

My opinion about the employees, and the senior officials at distaru is very positive, which means that the employees here are very good and even pay attention to the internship students. When there is a thanksgiving event, we prakerin children are told that we must participate in the event. Maybe that's all I can convey from this Spatial Planning Office, thank you for your attention and apologize if there is any wrong writing from me.
